Contingent territory rule - Visiting visa for H-1B stamping in Canada

Hi ,

I'm planning to go for H-1B stamping. Many are saying that we don't need a travel visa to enter Canada for the first 30 days because of the new contingent territory rule. Is this true?

you will not be qualified if your appliying for visa stamp.

You need a Canadian visa to enter into Canada. But you can enter into US from Canada with expired visa if you enter within 30days and won't attend for visa interview.That's called AVR
