H-1B visa stamping Canada - Sending the documents prior to the appointment

Hi All,

I heard that once we schedule an appointment in Canada, we can send over our documents to the consulate and they will let us know whether we can come to the consulate for the stamping or not. Is this true? Please let me know.

No "drop-box" or documents prior to Visa stamping.
