Meghana.Rudraraju Posted April 29, 2013 Report Posted April 29, 2013 Hello, I am planning to get my H1 Visa stamped for the first time this may. This is my 4th year on H1B and I still have F1 Visa stamped on my passport as I didn't visit home for the past 5 years. My parents Visitor visa is rejected twice last year. The reason for rejections, first time my dad answered six months when asked how long are you planning to stay and the second time VO said my salary is not enough to support my parent's visit. I work full time as Software Developer for a small legitimate american company with an I-140 petition filed. I have all the necessary documents for the stamping and I never abused any immigration laws. I just wanted to ask if my parents Visa rejections will have any negative effect on getting my H1 visa stamped? Any advice is truly appreciated. Thanks for looking, Meghana Rudraraju.
shekar11# Posted April 29, 2013 Report Posted April 29, 2013 No it will not have any effect on your stamping. You are good to go for stamping.
rahul412 Posted April 29, 2013 Report Posted April 29, 2013 No, you are good to go. Next when your parents apply for visiting visa, let them do it by themselves. Don't mess up the process by sponsoring.
Meghana.Rudraraju Posted April 30, 2013 Author Report Posted April 30, 2013 Thanks for the advice Rahul. I will keep that in mind. - Meghana
