Visa stamping with email approval confirmation copy from USCIS

Hi All,

Can we attend visa stamping in canada Vancouver with a email confirmation of approval email copy which is sent to employer (petitioner) upon approval of (H1-B amendement) , If the original copy gets delayed though MAIL. is it allowed/acceptable situation?

you mean to without 797?

If I am correct then,how do you enter into US without original 797???

Since the PIMS system has to agree with your approval status a copy is Fine.

Couple of days back I saw a post, he doesn't have any documents since he couldn't able to get his luggage on time, it got delayed (some issues with flight). So he went to the stamping without any original documents he took all the photocopies of it, but still he got approved, he is a FTE. This is just my observation, do not take it as a suggestion.

I am still waiting for my amendement approval.. my concern here is.. Can i take the email confirmation of the amendement approval (which my employer will receive from USCIS upon approval).

@Rahul412: before entering if i need the original I-797 then i can ask my employer to ship it to Canada location only..but the problem here is my stamping is on May 7th and i am expecting any updates on my case by this Monday or Tuesday. after that i have only 4 working days and iam not sure

I/ Employer will receive the original copy though mail by that time.

Iam not how much time it take to update the PIMS.. since its not under over control.. i am not worried abt it much right now...

Here my main intention for this POST is not to miss my current slot for Stamping which is due on MAy 7th.

you need a copy of approval either or stamp or poe thats from attorney. as am in same situtaion .
