My Father-inlaw's passport has spouse name mis-spelled. any issues during B2 visa interview?

Hi

We are planning to sponsor B2 visa to my wife's parents and I just realized while completing the DS160 forms for My Fther-ln-law's passport has mis-spelled Spouse name.

Would that be a problem during their visa appointment for B2?

Also I would like to know if there is any legal wait time if you get rejection during the first visa appointment?
