sridharbingi Posted April 26, 2013 Report Posted April 26, 2013 I work for company A on L1, last year(2012) another company filed and H1 for me for which still I didn't get any result (still in in initial review state). This year(2013) I max out my L1, so my company A applied for H1 conversion. Because of the lottery system, will the previous year's application considered as duplicate ? or both treated separately ?.
sk.january Posted April 26, 2013 Report Posted April 26, 2013 Your case is absolutely fine!! A duplicate with respect to cap filing is only when an employer files 2 or more petitions for the same beneficiary.
myusaoffers Posted April 26, 2013 Report Posted April 26, 2013 so do that mean if 2 different employers apply for one person is not duplicate, right? Your case is absolutely fine!! A duplicate with respect to cap filing is only when an employer files 2 or more petitions for the same beneficiary.
sandiego Posted May 5, 2013 Report Posted May 5, 2013 Regarding the above thread, i had some queries as below ================================================= I hd applied with two different companies h1b 2014 (currently now in US with L1). It's luck or don't know I got call from two companies they received different receipt number to track further 1) Is it will approved by two companies (I should be given only one visa) ? 2) USCIS will approve only one visa first cum first serve? 3) Both are applied in general ,I am interested in one company so I can make premium processing now to get approve.?? 4) what will be safe option even I want to the travel out of country before joining new company by OCT?
