Currently on H4(spouse on H1) and still staying in USA, but not working. Can I have my work permit after completion of 1 Yr of stay in US on H4 (OR) should I go out of US for 1 yr, to gain my work permit (L1A or H1) again.? Link to comment
Attorney_23 Posted September 14, 2011 Report Share Posted September 14, 2011 Ordinarily, a person who has remained in the U.S. for 7 years in L-1A status must be outside the U.S. for 1 year in order to apply again for L-1 or H1B status. Link to comment
