Arsh2602 Posted April 25, 2013 Report Posted April 25, 2013 Hello Experts, I came to US in L1-A in Jan2008. My L1-A extension got rejected in Aug 2010 & went back to India. I came back to US in Dec 2010 on H1-B. Will permitted six years of total period of stay count both L1-A (extension rejection) & H1-B ? If yes than i will be completing six years in Dec 2013. I will additionally have seven months to recapture as i was in India so i can stay till Jul 2014. Is it possible to get I-140 if i apply GC in EB-2/3 now so that i can extend my stay here before July ? Lead time for GC application for my organization is very high & it takes 3-4 months to apply GC. GC can be applied in Aug/Sep time frame. Which are the other options available ?
