Currently on L1-A, want GC. What to pay attention to with company?

Hello,

I am currently in the US on a L1-A (for 13 months now), with a "manager" title (however, I do not have people reporting into me though). I have 12 years of international experience and an MBA.

1. Do I qualify for EB-1 or do I have to go through EB-2?
   
2. If the company wants to apply for the GC, what should I pay attention to (questions to ask, things to make sure, etc.)?
   
3. How long would the process take (depending on the answer to 1.)?
   
4. What can jeopardise the process? Things that I need to be aware of (those not so intuitive)?
