Chillaxing Posted April 24, 2013 Report Posted April 24, 2013 Hello Everybody, My visa got approved today and it was a 5-7 minutes interview. I was interviewed at counter no.6 by a male Visa Officer. Below is the detailed conversation that I had with the VO VO: Hello... How are you doing today? ME: Hello.. I am doing good.. Thank you... How about you? VO: Can I get your passport and confirmation page. ME: Submitted them VO: Who is your employer? ME: XXXX VO: What do you do? ME: I work as XYZ. VO: Can I get your LCA and W-2? ME: Handed over my LCA and W-2 for 2012 VO: How long have you been with your employer? ME: X years and XX months VO: Where is your current client located? ME:XYZ VO: Did you study in USA? ME: YES, studied at XYZ VO: What did you major in? ME: I have majored in XYZ VO: What is the highest degree that you have attained? ME: Masters in XYZ VO: Where did you work prior to this client? ME: XYZ VO: How long did it take to move from your previous client to the current client? ME: XYZ days VO: Can I get your client letter? ME: Submitted my client letter. VO Kept typing something after 2 mins he said " Your VISA is approved and you will get your passport in next 3 days" ME: Thank you ME: How do I get notified about my passport pickup? VO: You will receive an email ME; Thanks again and have a good day. VO: Your welcome and you have a good day as well. Me and 7 others got their VISA's approved. I haven't heard about any 221G's. TIP: Be at the consulate as early as possible even if your appointment is scheduled late. I went to the consulate at 8:15 AM and I was let in 8:30 AM and was out by 9:30 AM whereas my actual appoint was scheduled for 10:30 AM. Hope my review would help you all.
