shankara.veda Posted April 23, 2013 Report Posted April 23, 2013 Hello, I am presently working on OPT with an expired F1 visa.My degree presentation /convocation is in June and intend to travel to India for a week before that, i.e in May Do you guys think is it a good idea to travel with my status?I am not sure of the options I have presently.Can you please through some light. t75 Posted April 23, 2013 Report Posted April 23, 2013 You must obtain a new stamping to reenter. It is never guaranteed. Travel at your own risk.
Hari9 Posted April 23, 2013 Report Posted April 23, 2013 You would need valid visa to enter US in your case if you travel to India you can`t reenter. Did you apply for H1B? If I were you I will not travel outside US.
