ngupta2k12 Posted April 23, 2013 Report Posted April 23, 2013 I am working for company A. A has applied for my H1B extension. A has also filed my I-140 application for green card. Now, I have an offer from company B and they want to file my H1B extension as well. I want to port my priority date from company A to B for green card process. My question is: Can H1 extension by employer B affect my green card/H1 process with employer A? Just wondering if USCIS thinks that the employee might leave the company A, so why to approve I-140 or maybe why not put it in audit state?
