F1 is expired I have visitor visa to Canada Never been out of status Already booked my appointment on 1st May. Have every single document, Expired F is bothering me.... Waiting eagerly for some golden answers. If the Answer is Yes: You are the best (you relived my Mind) If the Answer is NO: You are still the best(You literally saved me from making a blunder) Appreciate the HELP!!

sk.h1b Posted April 23, 2013 Report Posted April 23, 2013 hi as per my understanding, validity of your f1 is only applicable for travelling to the US once you are in, duration of your stay depends on your date on i94. if you overstay that then its not good but expirary date on f1 doesnt mean anything if you are not planning to use it to reenter US hope that helps

I am on F1B Visa - my visa is expring on 14/07/2013. But my H1B intereview dat is 28/7/2013. I have Vaild I-20, becoz i am on OPT extenion. What you will suggest? i should go for visa or not?
