Visastamping22 Posted April 22, 2013 Report Posted April 22, 2013 Hi Friends, I am working with my employer since last 2 years and with the same client, started my H1 last year. I was on a month long unpaid vacation to fulfill my personal commitments during my OPT period and my employer did not run any payroll during that period since i was on OPT and he said that its safe to do when you are on OPT but never on H1. Is this an issue from stamping standpoint ? I have all my pay stubs, including all my H1 pay stubs, except the one when i was out on unpaid vacation during OPT. Kindly respond, inputs appreciated.
rahul412 Posted April 22, 2013 Report Posted April 22, 2013 If your total unpaid days in OPT are less than 90days then you are in legal status.

Since i joined employer ? yes its just a month, after that I resumed to my current client again. You should have a employer during OPT and can do unpaid internship ?
