H1B visa stamping after change in employer

Hi,

I have my original H1B stamped till Sep 11, 2013. Now I have changed my employer and I am planning to visit my parents in India.

Should I go for visa stamping for my new employer or my old stamping(from old employer) which is valid till Sep 11, 2013 should be fine?

I contacted my company's attorney and they told me that the immigration officer could inadvertently misstamp my I-94 as expiring on Sep 11, 2013 (old visa expiration date).

Could it be an issue? has it happened to anyone. How to avoid this?
