J1 to H1-non-cap-premium processing-J1 waiver from DoS, not from USCIS

Dear guys,

Please help me with the following case. I am in a spot of bother.

My institute applied for H1B, premium processing at California center. This is non-cap inst. Applied with J1 waiver recommendation from DoS and the receipt from USCIS for the same. Still no waiver obtained from USCIS. I learned that USCIS will look for this internally and clear J1 waiver and H1B together. Or will it ask me for the waiver for which what should I do. My J1 expires on Apr. 30, 2013. H1 applied on Apr. 15, 2013.
