EB3 to Eb3 port date

Hi,

I got married after i applied for 485 priority date 2007catrgory eb3

I have to maintain h1b status so that my wife stays in the country, so cannot apply ofr EAD.

if i start the gc process again through 3B3 catgory and add my wife can i port my old application date to the the new application.

sorry this may sound a stupid questuons.. want to get out of h1b and if poossible have EAD.

You can apply for and get EAD. You can't use it, though. Just a clarification...

You meant a new EB2 petition, not EB3...

Yes, you can use your old PD. The next question is whether you even need a new I-140 petition...
