how to clam 1 year 8 months when I worked offshore in Dubai stay running payroll in US.

Hi to all,

Can I clam 1 year 8 months, I am working for US company on H1-Bvisa running payroll every month and got to stay in Dubai for every 6 months and back to US for 2 weeks and then back to dubai, total 1 year 6 months I stayed working on a project on site at Dubai & Communication thro US company, after project finished back to US working for same company.

I hear from my friends that we can clam the year if you stayed outside of the country when your payroll running in US on H1-B.
