mallo
Hi Folks, I have got an opportunity within the same which i would like to pursue. However, my labor was filed 3 months back and is yet to be approved. The new role is 50% or more similar to my current role but with additional responsibilities and under a different manager/director. Can I pursue this opportunity while my labor is in process? Quick replies greatly appreciated. Thanks. Link to comment
Jyothis
Take the job requirements and talk to your attorney who is dealing with your case. They would be able to tell you what impact it makes. this varies case by case and better get a legal eyes review it. Link to comment
mallo
The problem is that I'm afraid that the attorney will communicate my intentions to my current manager, which i don't want. I have heard cases where even though people change jobs(same company) while their PERM is in process their applications are not revoked but a addendum is made once the I-140 is approved that the job title was change from XYZ to ABC with 50+% of responsibilities being same. t75
Someone might have been qualified and willing to take the new job but not the original. An attorney consult is essential. Link to comment
