Hi,

I have a H1B which is valid till 2014 and now in India. I am planning to travel to US in tourist visa. Please let me know if my H1b would get cancel when I travel to US in Tourist visa. Thank you !

You already had H1 visa which is a work visa, so how can you convince the VO that you will come back if you apply for visiting visa?

It’s quite easy. May be H1b visa is no more active, means no more connection with the mentioned H1b employer.

There are different visas for different purposes. Tourism purpose is altogether different from work.

Yes, the VO may ask about H1b, if OP is no more associated with the mentioned H1b employer the visa MAY BE cancelled, totally depends on VO's discretion.
