Hi All,

I have one question and need some suggestion & advice please .

1 Presently i am having a H1B petition approved from Oct 1 2012 to 30 sep 2013 and working with IT software company .

2. I filed an extension for H1B and got it approved for 3 years from Oct 1 2013 to 30 sept 2016 .

I am planning for first H1B Stamping in vancauver on 26th april and need to submit the DS 160 documents .

I am confused that shall i submitted old petition or the new one in DS 160 .

Please help me !!

new one, if you submit the old petition you will get the visa till Oct '13.

Hi,

I am in the same boat, i am told we need to use new 797 in both DS 160 and in the visa appointment site. so used new 797 number . by the way my visa appointment is on May 6th.
