yesrn Posted April 10, 2013 Report Posted April 10, 2013 I came to US on L1 visa which was expired in Feb-13, but I have a valid I-94 valid till through Jun-15. My dependents got L2 visas with the same valid date(Feb-13) and joined me later. Due to my daughter's education, my dependents went back to India before my visa got expired. Now, my visa got expired, dependents visa also got expired and they are in India. My daughter's education is going to be completed in by Jul-13. Can they eligible to get their L2 visa extended and travel to US to join me as I have valid I-94 till Jun-15. Any suggestion is highly appreciated.
yesrn Posted April 10, 2013 Author Report Posted April 10, 2013 Thanks for your response. Can you please elaborate the current documents means. My case is whether they can go for L2 visa extension based on my I-94 validity even though L1 visa got expired and get it stampted and travel to US.
Attorney_23 Posted April 10, 2013 Report Posted April 10, 2013 In general, the L-1 worker does not need an unexpired visa in order for his spouse to apply for an L-2 visa.
