L2 EAD - Not Valid For Reentry To US

My L2 Visa has expired but I have valid I-94 (Till Next year 08/2014). My current EAD is also valid till 08/2014 based on I-94 expiry date.

We are now in the process of Visa extension and soon we will be travelling to Canada for New Visa.

My Question is

- Will my current EAD become invalid, if I reenter US with a new Visa and new I-94?

Please note: my EAD card says "Not Valid For Reentry To US".

Kindly Suggest.

An EAD is work authorization, not an entry document. It always says "not valid for reentry."

It will stay valid if you reenter with a new L2 visa.
