L2 Ead to H1 - Need info on the Cap

Friends,

I am in L1 staying in US for the past 3.5 years. I can stay for another 1.5 year till next year Nov 2014. My wife is in L2 EAD staying with me from 2011 in US and worked for about 6 months totally with her L2 EAD. She stayed here in US for about 2 years. Below are my questions

1) If my wife gets H1B visa next year, whether she can work and stay here for another 6years

2) If my wife gets H1B next year, will i be able to stay with her for 6Years in H4 status without going back to India.

3) Any other option to stay here in US without going back to india. We dont have an option to process GC too at this time:-(
