PIMPS verification

Hi all,

I went to visa stamping in 2008 at mexico. I got my PIMPS verification done then by sending and email to the consulate.

Now I am planning to go to stamping in chennai. One of my friend said no need of PIMPS verification now. But i am not sure about that. could some one please help me with this. If i have to do verification please let me know the procedure for Chennai counsulate

It isn't PIMPS verification... It is PIMS verification ...lol

If you get ur PIMPS Verification done... I mean PIMS... then email Chennai Consulate

Lol! My Bad. Did not realize whatI typed till its pointed out.

Can i email to chennaics@state.gov for PIMS verification? and what are the things that I have to mention in the email for validation?

PIMS is an automatic process and you do not have to do anything.

PIMS is no longer required and DONT send any emails to the consulate. Why bring unnecessary attention to your case?

Dude,

About PIMS you cant do anything. Just attend the interview and they will let you know if you have PIMS.

Generally PIMS verification takes a day or two extra.

So my advise is no need to update in any consulate.
