jsk423 Posted April 10, 2013 Report Posted April 10, 2013 To : chennaics@state.gov Hi Sir/Madam, I am XXX bearing Indian passport: XXX, I have an appointment for visa stamping on XXX, I would like to verify my information in PIMS database. Please find the attached petition (I-797) and appointment confirmation for more details. Appointment confirmation: Receipt Number: Petitioner: Beneficiary: Passport Number: DOB: Classification: Thank you! XXX
cobra1232 Posted April 10, 2013 Report Posted April 10, 2013 PIMS is no longer required and DONT send any emails to the consulate. Why bring unnecessary attention to your case?
vizagboy Posted April 11, 2013 Report Posted April 11, 2013 Dude, About PIMS you cant do anything. Just attend the interview and they will let you know if you have PIMS. Generally PIMS verification takes a day or two extra. So my advise is no need to update in any consulate. All the best..!
