H1b Extension question

I filed my H1B extension for second time, all the time I am not getting more than 1 year validity(first extension filed May2012 and second extension filed mar 2013). This time I received my receipt number last week where 2 things are bothering me.

- received date and noticed date are same day, but last time filed receipt shows different dates almost 5 weeks of time.

- current receipt shows $350 and last year's $1800.

Is this something strange? My attorney or employer overlooked something?

Please help me out from these questions. I did'nt find any similar questions in this forum.

Received date is the date USCIS centre received your application

Notice date is the date USCIS centre sent you a notice about the status of your application

The amount varies on lot other facts, your attorney should answer you that. to be honest am unaware of those in detail

=> Why are you concerned about these amounts? Did you pay for your H1b fees?
