Rakee Posted April 1, 2013 Report Posted April 1, 2013 Hello Experts, I have a question about the H1B stamping after change of employer. I used to work onsite in USA for a company in india on H1B. I had I797B document with my old company. I have recently resigned the old company and shifted to a new company in USA and got my old H1B transferred to the new company and I have recieved I797A. I have the stamping valid with my old company till Feb 2014. Please anybody let me know that whether I need to go for stamping if I travel outisde united states. Will the change in petition numbers makes any difference? Please anyone let me know.
shekar11# Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 You will not need visa stamping if you travel outside US. Your current visa should be good. Carry all I 797's old and new while travelling. That's it.
pontevecchio Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 You can use the existing visa and return with your latest H1 approval.
