rahulp21
One of my sister is a US citizen planning to applying for a Family based green card for other sister who is a UK (British) citizen. Both were born in India. My sister (UK citizen) currently does not need a consulate visit, long paperwork etc.. for a visitor visa to come to US, it’s just an online form and fairly straightforward. If a family based green card is applied for the UK citizen (India born) then will that create problems with: visiting USA Applying for a H1B work visa. Based on what I have read in some cases there can be more questions/problems for people receiving a visitor visa if a family based green card is in process. We are trying to avoid a situation where person cannot even visit US if a green card is applied. Thank you for your replies. Link to comment
pontevecchio
Your sister in England can choose to apply for a multiple entry visa for 10 years if she wants. If approved there is a good chance that she can visit for short periods under the circumstances you describe. Link to comment
