coolsavy Posted March 30, 2013 Report Posted March 30, 2013 HI, As my passport got damaged, I have applied for duplicate passport in new york and I will get it by April 18th, as per the officers there I will get a new passport number for the duplicate passport. My planned travel date to india is on may 5th. And planning to go for stamping in the second week of may. Question 1. Can I get a slot anywhere in india if I book an appointment now. Question 2. Can I book an appointment with my old passport number. Thanks, Savy.
shekar11# Posted April 1, 2013 Report Posted April 1, 2013 Not sure about first question, but for question 2 you will need your new passport number because that is where you will get your H1 visa stamping done.
sudhir123 Posted April 3, 2013 Report Posted April 3, 2013 Not sure how it works in India. But if you are planning to go for Stamping in Canada you can book your appointment with your old passport no and later change it with a new one by sending an email to the support team. Regards, Sudhir
