DS 160 form doubts

Hi All,

I am travelling to India for stamping. what address do i need to fill in home address and mailing address in DS 160 form? Is this the US address or address in India? I am staying in US for past 3 years.

What phone number do i need to enter in DS 160 form ? US Phone number or INDIA number?

If you are going to India for stamping I would put India address/phone number and where it says Address in US/Contact put the US address. Since that would be the address they would mail or phone number they would reach to you at.

Address, mailing address and phone number on DS-160 are all for communication 'while' your visa is being processed.

If you are attending the visa interview in your home country, all of these details should be of your home country. If you are attending interview in a third country, like Canada, it's at your discretion which address you enter, consulates don't care as much.
