Aarav27
I have interview scheduled on April 9th. But, I just got to know that if you change your client (project) location, your employer has to file H1B Amendment. Is it really true?? I had different client when I got H1B approved last year but when I am going for stamping I have another client (project) but same city. Please suggest, should I ask my employer to file h1b amendment before me going for stamping next month? Thanks Link to comment
VB2013
If you want to be 1000% sure ..its advised to get the Amendment done. I was in same situation - I got my visa without an amendment. Link to comment
cobra1232
If it's the same city/same role then I guess you should be fine. Again Prevailing wages might be different for same roles within the same city also, not sure on this (Verify). But check with your lawyer for peace of mind. Link to comment
rahul412
Please suggest, should I ask my employer to file h1b amendment before me going for stamping next month? If it is same city the LCA should be fine. But I heard these days Consulate is asking for amended petition. Change your appt date, get the amendment and then attend the interview. Link to comment
