Hi,

I got my H1b on Dec-2011 to one year, means my H1b is expiring on Nov-6 2012. My employeer application my Extension on nov and it got RFQ and responded that RFQ, yesterday it got rejected and saying need to apply new H1b. They gave me grass period of 30 to challenge.

Now am i going to invalid status? how do i need to apply new H1B? What is that grace period?

Can any one suggest me - Thanks.

my friend was in similar situation , got 60 days grace period. first thing you have to do is challenge the decision and reopen the case so you will be in status(should not work during the period) and apply H1b through some other employer with client and vendor letters. my friend did the same thing and he got it for 2 years.

Can any one reply me, My H1b got denied yesterday and they mentioned in that Apply new H1b or Challenge the decision. What should i need to do? am i out of status? can i apply new H1b based on this decision? or do i need to go to any other status like h4?

Please suggest me.

Here i forgot to mention one important point, I came to USA on 2010-May to one company H4, after that my dependent move to another company and got new I-94 till Dec-2011. We applied my H1b on 2011 April based on this H4. In july my Dependent move another company and they applied all our Transfers which we got till 2014. Between i got my H1b approved on Dec-2011 till Dec-2012. Now this H1b got Denied.

So My H4 is still valid? am i correct? Can i apply my new H1b based on this H4? What would be my Status.

Can any one suggest me?
