srinivas1416
Hi, My COS(H4 to H1) applied and got approval but when i observe that my I-797A is having invalid I-94 no. Let's say her original I-94(H4 port of entry I-94) is 123456789. In the new approval what I see is 213456789. The first and second digits swaped in approval doc(I-797A). 1). What is the process to correct it?. How many days USCIS will take to correct it?. 2). I got a job in one big company. Is there any issues if i apply for transfer with wrong I-94 number in I-797A?. Please advice. Link to comment

srinivas1416
Thanks for reply. My lawyer contacted USCIS and they updated my case. Current status showing as Acceptance On March 28, 2013, an amended notice on this case was mailed describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on the notice. This case is being processed at our VERMONT SERVICE CENTER location. If this I129 PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER is still pending, you will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283. What does mean?. Is they corrected the form and mailed? or They are going to correct it later?. Experts please confirm. Thanks in advance. Link to comment
0407
I am familiar with these wordings. My H1B was approved for 2 years ( petitioned for 3 years). Attorney contacted them regarding anomaly. They sent in an amended approval notice that approved the petition for 3 years. Case status update looked exactly same as what you have pasted above. Link to comment
