syed_ishtiaq Posted March 26, 2013 Report Share Posted March 26, 2013 I started working in Aug 2012 from Denver (my petition and LCA was for Denver), now I got relocated to Dallas from the same employer. They applied for LCA amendment in 1st week of march 2013. My employer sent me a new USCIS receipt number. wanted to confirm if LCA amendment forces to apply for a new visa. I always assumed that only the LCA will be amended. I checked on the USCIS website for the status of my new receipt number, and it says under "Initial Review", has the process started all over again.
