priyankabansal
I received my H1b visa rejection on 9th March. I went for my interview on 14th Jan 2013 at New Delhi consulate. Now my question is - When should I file my H4. How long should I wait for my H4? I heard bombay is better than New Delhi. Should I go to Bombay for H4 stamping? My home is in Delhi. Please suggest. pontevecchio
The only major factor besides Marriage is the credibility of your spouses H1 status with documents. Link to comment

shekar11#
H4 stamping can be done at anytime. My friend was in same situation when her H1 got rejected. She applied for H4 and received approval. Gap between rejection and H4 stamping was 1 month for her. Link to comment
priyankabansal
My H1b got rejected due to my employer and EVC model. Do I need to revoke my H1B visa first before I take appointment for H4? Can I go to Mumbai consulate as I hear a good success rate there, if so do I need to justify why I chose the location? pontevecchio
You can apply wherever you are allowed to by their system. The H1 petition is not yours to revoke. That is the sponsors remit. Again if your spouses H1 has no credibility issues you will get your H4 visa. Link to comment
