Is Offer Letter/ appointment letter required for H1 filing?

Hi,

I have a company filing for my H1 and they are located in a different state. I am on H4.

I have my LCA approved but I dont have an offer letter or appointment letter from them?

Should I be worried? I thought an appointment letter is required during petition, I am right?
