Successful visa stamping, But said additional Info needed @ Vancouver

Hi, Thanks to Murthy Forum. Asked me simple Questions @ Counter Number 6

VO: Hello, How r u?

me: Hello sir, Good Morning!, I'm Fine, How are you?

VO: Fine Thank you

VO: Did you study in US.

me: Yes sir,

VO:Where?

Me :xxxx state

VO: whats your major.

Me: Computer Science.

VO:How long you're with this company?

me:xxx months

VO:do you have end client

me: Yes

VO: Who is your Client.

Me: XXXX company.

VO: How long you with client

Me: xxx months

VO:Give me your LCA and W2.

me: passed, He was looking at LCA.

VO: You live in XX State?

Me: NO sir, I live in XX state. May be he was cross checking!!

He took 1 min looking at computer screen deeply.

VO: Your visa is approved, We need some additional information. You can pickup your passport from Loomis, Gave me form how to pick up passport.

When I went to counter 1 they gave my passport and I797 Ds160, Its written PIMS expiry date not matching

I didn't get this He said visa approved but additional Info Needed,He Didn't gave me 221g.

Is there anybody on same boat?

I was in similar situation. I had my interview on March 18.

At counter 1, they have written 'PIMS Error' on my DS 160. Not sure what was it then, but during my interview VO told me that my I797 expiration date (29 Sep 2015) is not in sync with expiry date from PIMS (Sep 30,2015).

And then asked me whether to put a request to include that missing day as well into my visa period or is it OK if i grant visa upto Sep 29,2015. He said that request might take upto 4-5 business days to be processed.But I said that I'm fine with visa until Sep 29'2015.

He said OK and typed in something on computer and said that my visa was approved. I am still waiting for email confirmation to collect my passport.

In your case, may be visa officer might have put a request to include that extra day to your H1b period. But you should be fine here .That's my guess. Hope this helps .

some of you might got confused, Post should be like below. VO didn't gave me my passport back.

Ok ... We (Me and my friend) are still waiting for status to change to ISSUED and we had interview on Tuesday March 19 as well ...So let us know if you have any update regarding passport pick or status..
