Visa approved 3/5 , Vancouver - EVVC model

Hi all, just wanted to share my interview experience at Vancouver, BC

Interview Date: 3/5/2013

Appointment Time : 9:30am

Went to consulate by 8:30am, went through document check ( appointment confirmation which has barcode and passport)and then to 2nd floor for PIMS verification, photo ( carried extra photos which came in handy). I had PIMS verified and it will be written on the appointment letter. Waited for while

Then we were taken to 20th floor. Waited for about 10 minutes after giving finger prints. Went to Window 6 ( male VO) when my token was displayed on screen

1. Did you go to xyz university?

Yes

2. So you work as "my role"

Yes

3. What is your annual salary

$0.0

4. Can I see your W2 for 2012

Gave 2012 W2 since he asked specifically for that

5. Where do you live?

xyz location

6. Since how long have you been living at this location

since xyz

7. Can I see your end client letter

Gave letter. He probably cross checked the location information in LCA/DS-160 with the client letter.

That's it. Your visa is approved.

P.S: I am in EVVC model

We (6 friends, we met in murthy forum only) stayed at Ramada Inn, Downtown. After interview we hired a car and moved to Holiday Inn express in Richmond ( close to airport and Loomis). Got passport on Thursday and back to US on Thursday itself. Went around on Tuesday and Wednesday. Loved the food at Sarvana Bhavan.

Finally, thanks to murthy forum for creating this platform to share valuable information and to all those people who shared their experience which helped me prepare well for the interview
