I94 Expiration Date: 2nd June 2013 4. L1B Extention : It has been filed and got RFE. Need to reply by 8th June 2013. My questions are: If i visit out of country now and get I94 lets say by December 2013 and my L1-B extention is denied then Can i stay and Work in US by December 2013 on expired L1-B visa and Extention denial? Will there be any issue while leaving country in December 2013? Thank you so much in advance. Regards Tarun
Attorney_23 Posted March 18, 2013 Report Posted March 18, 2013 An L-1 worker with a valid visa issued under the employer's Blanket can generally receive an I-94 valid for 3 years upon reentry into the U.S. Therefore, it may make more sense to withdraw the current petition rather than to respond to the RFE. However, I would need additional information to make such a determination. I recommend you or your employer consult with an attorney prior to proceeding. If you do not have an attorney, the Murthy Law Firm offers consultations by telephone, in person, and via eMail. These consultations are designed to provide detailed case analysis, individualized legal strategies, and long-term immigration planning. To schedule a mutually convenient appointment time with an attorney in our office, please call 410.356.5440 between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm (ET).
