gaurav101 Posted March 17, 2013 Report Posted March 17, 2013 Hi, Can i apply for H1 if my opt extension is rejected? What would be the reason that my company is not filing for H1 as there business is good and they need experienced employees (have been with them for the whole opt)? They did not give me training letter which has caused my denial of opt ext.. What would be a good proof that they have applied for my H1 incase they say in spoken coz i dont trust them anymore as my OPT ext got rejected because of them. Thanks, Gaurav
t75 Posted April 25, 2013 Report Posted April 25, 2013 H-1B quota has been filled. No company is required to file for a visa. An H-1B employee is far more costly than an OPT employee.
