nanduck Posted March 4, 2013 Report Posted March 4, 2013 Hello, I am currently in F1 status with OPT extension which is valid till June 5, 2014. My F1 status is also valid until Nov 2014. My employer is filing H1B for me this year on Apr 1, 2013. I have to go to my home country on May 10th 2013 and will be coming on June 1st, 2013.. What my question is, can i go to my home country after applying for H1B on Apr 1 2013, will i face any problems by doing this. Can you please advise about my issue.
t75 Posted March 5, 2013 Report Posted March 5, 2013 They can apply bit unless PP and I-94 for H1B is in your hand before you leave, COS is abandoned and you will need new COS or stamping.
