H1B Reaffirmed - Do I need a client letter?

Reaffirmed - Feb 2013 (no NOIR)

My client terminated the contract as I couldn't travel back to US. As of now they do not have any open position for me.

As it is reaffirmed case my employer says I should be good even without client letter.

If VO askes for a client letter, my employer told me to mention that "I will be assigned a project as soon I report to my employer office". I don't know if it works or not?

Not sure, if I need to find a new project and get LCA, H1 amendment and vendor/client letters?

Please advice???
