L1- H1 COS

Hello,

I am working with a company on L1A right now and thinking of applying H1 thru a consultant. My Stay in US is as follows:

L1B

Oct - 2005 - Mar 2008

When back to India, then came back again

New Fresh L1A

Dec 2010 - Till Date

Now if i will apply for H1, how much stay i will get on H1 and will my prior period L1B will be counted for calculating H1 remaining period..?

6 year includes time spent on both L1 and H1. Since you stayed outside of US more than one year before entering on L1A, the time spent on L1B will NOT be considered for the 6 year term.
