Changing employer in GC process

Hi,

This is probably a basic question. Say company A files my perm and it gets approved. At this phase, can I go to company B and file 140? If I go to company B anyway, do I have to start the whole process all over again?

Start the whole process all over.

An approved PERM gives you nothing. Change employers and its as if you never applied for PERM.

An exception is that if you have an approved I140, you may be able to retain priority date after you change employers, but you will have to start the GC process all over again with the new employer.
