mystical10 Posted February 27, 2013 Report Posted February 27, 2013 Hi, I went to my visa interview on Feb 25th, 2013. The officer asked a couple of questions about my job and said he doesn't see anything wrong. But he said the system is running slow (PIMS) and can't tell me it's approved if i do hear anything it would be by the end of the work day in an email. He gave me a instruction sheet of paper and said to go to Loomis branch to pick it up on Wednesday. It is now Feb 27th, no email regarding rejection or even if the passport is ready. The applicant summary on my account doesn't have any update. I leave tomorrow evening after 6pm, i'm just worried it will be delayed and i would have to forfeit my return flight and extend the stay. Anyone in this situation please advise on how long it took?? Thanks in advance. Ottawavisa13

Where did you check your status? https://usvisa-info.com/en-CA/selfservice/login or on the department of state website. On the Account summary in my account it doesn't have any waybill info, whereas the department of state site, it says "Administrative processing. I went to Loomis last evening, the lady said my application is in the system but not released for pickup. This is crazy, not sure why they leave everyone in the dark with no answers. I was supposed to leave this evening, but postponed till Saturday.
