H1 stamping in Ottawa on Feb 25, 2013, anyone get their passport yet?

Hi,

I went to my visa interview on Feb 25th, 2013. The officer asked a couple of questions about my job and said he doesn't see anything wrong. But he said the system is running slow (PIMS) and can't tell me it's approved if i do hear anything it would be by the end of the work day in an email. He gave me a instruction sheet of paper and said to go to Loomis branch to pick it up on Wednesday.

It is now Feb 27th, no email regarding rejection or even if the passport is ready. The applicant summary on my account doesn't have any update. I leave tomorrow evening after 6pm, i'm just worried it will be delayed and i would have to forfeit my return flight and extend the stay.

Anyone in this situation please advise on how long it took??

Even I attended the interview on Feb 25th and VO told me the same thing about PIMS as he told you and asked me to check the status on Wednesday.But when I check my status online it shows that my application has been refused.Can you please check your status and let me know about what you see in your application status.

Hi sorry to hear it got rejected, did they give a reason?

On the Account summary in my account it doesn't have any waybill info, whereas the department of state site, it says "Administrative processing. I went to Loomis last evening, the lady said my application is in the system but not released for pickup. This is crazy, not sure why they leave everyone in the dark with no answers. I was supposed to leave this evening, but postponed till Saturday.
