abhichit Posted February 27, 2013 Report Share Posted February 27, 2013 Hi, I was granted H1B on Oct-1-2004 (after working on OPT from Feb-1-2004) and worked through 2 employers on multiple H1Bs till my last one (details below). My last H1B was valid till Nov-17-2010 but I left my company and returned back to India on Apr-1-2010 (i.e. with ~5 months remaining in the 6-yr overall H1B validity period). Question: Will any company sponsoring my H1B TODAY have to file under the 2013-2014 cap, or will I be cap-exempt? Your advice and expertise are deeply appreciated.
