Programmer7
Hello, I have a quick question regarding my I-140 application. My Labor Certification(ETA 9089) was approved a couple of months ago. My employer is in the process of petitioning for I-140 using the approved labor certification. Unfortunately, we just came to realize that there has been a spelling mistake on the approved labor cert. In the declaration part of the Labor Certification application, the last name of the company's president is misspelled as "Peterson" instead of "Petterson". We were told that there is no real way of correcting or updating the Labor Certification once submitted. Do you think this is going to effect the decision of my I-140 petition? Except for that typo everything in the application is correct. Any advice or direction regarding this issue will be helpful. Kindly, please find some time to shed light on this issue. Please let me know if you have any questions or need more information. Thanks for looking and have a good day. Regards, Meghana Rudraraju. Link to comment

VKK
Meghana, I don't think that will be an issue. In my case my past experience history has month changed for one project/company. I realized that after approval of I140. Do not worry much about it. Best of Luck. Link to comment
