sam3440
Hi, I got offer from new employer and they gave me 18th March 2013 as StartDate. My new employer working with a firm to process my H1b transfer process. After sending all the documents, status on their (firm's) website changed to LCA Drafted on 2/19 and Initiated LCA Sent for posting on 2/21. Could any one explain 1. What does "LCA drafted" and "Initiated LCA sent for posting" means 2. What is the average duration to get LCA approved for H1 transfer process 3. Does LCA process gets counted in 15 days h1 transfer premium process ? 4. Is there any way to check the status of my LCA apart from firm's website. Link to comment
wiweq
1. What does "LCA drafted" and "Initiated LCA sent for posting" means? => Employer/ attorney prepares LCA (labor condition application) before filing H1b. It consists job responsibilities, location of job and other details. It’s sent to department of labor for approval. They suggest the prevailing wage depending on the job duties. Now, employer/ attorney send this approval with H1b petition. 2. What is the average duration to get LCA approved for H1 transfer process? => Because now LCA filing in online it takes 3-5 days. 3. Does LCA process gets counted in 15 days h1 transfer premium process ? => LCA filing time is not counted towards 15 days of PP. 4. Is there any way to check the status of my LCA apart from firm's website. => No way to check the LCA status. Link to comment
