Is re-entry required after H1 transfer?

I got my visa approval and stamping through company A last year and entered US with it(Nov'12). But because of some personal resons I could not report to that company and another company(B) applied for my H1 transfer immediately within 3 weeks(Dec'12) of my entry to US. Now that H1 transfer is approved(new I797) with Company B. Should I have to go out of US and re-enter to start working with my new employer or can I just start working with them right away?

=> If new I94 is attached with your I797, notice of action, you don't need to leave USA. Just start working for new employer.
