I was in the US from Oct 2006 -- Jun 2007 , I left the US in June 2007 and returned to my home country. 2 questions 1. Can a new employer now file a cap -exempt H1b petition for me under the remainder option ? 2. if yes , is there a date till when this option of cap exempt is available to me, can this be filed at any time , some forums tell me this should be filed within the 6 years of either petition start date ,some say within 6 yrs of petition end date , some say there is no time limt what is the correct answer?
